Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This role is essential in upholding high standards of hygiene and presentation, contributing to overall guest satisfaction and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring all areas meet established cleanliness standards.
- Conduct floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as required.
- Replace linens, towels, and toiletries in guest rooms and bathrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning and housekeeping roles, preferably within hospitality or hotel environments.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment for various surfaces.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial positions is a plus.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is beneficial.
